If you’ve ever experienced lag when typing, or even worse, an inability to type at all, this guide may help.
The first thing to know is that this is just a temporary fix for the logitech G502.
That’s the laptop that came with the device, which is now getting an update to fix the issue, and which we reported on here on Tuesday.
The second thing to note is that there are several ways to fix it.
Here’s a rundown of what you need to do if you have any problems.1.
Turn on “Logitech Keyboard” in the Logitech Control Panel.
This will let you toggle the “Logical Acceleration” setting, which allows the computer to slow down the keyboard when typing.
The “LogiSpeed” setting makes the keyboard slower by adjusting the speed of the acceleration.2.
Head to Settings>Settings>Accessories.
Select the LogiTechg502.
This panel will allow you to enable the “G501 Logitech Gaming Keyboard” for the Logistic Gaming Keyboard.3.
Go to the “Hardware” tab and turn on the “Gaming” switch.
This should give you more control over the gaming mode.4.
Head back to the Logical Accelerator setting in the Settings tab and change it to “Off.”5.
Turn the “Max Input Sensitivity” slider to “None” in your keyboard settings.
This sets the maximum input sensitivity.
The best way to test is to press and hold the “keyboard” button.6.
Head over to Logitech’s website to learn how to fix lag with Logitech G501’s gaming keyboard.7.
Turn “Logo Support” on.
You’ll see a box at the bottom of the screen that says “Support for Logitech logos.”8.
Open the Logics settings panel, go to “Logics” and change “Logic Acceleration Speed” to “Slow.”9.
Go back to “Settings” and go to the Gaming tab.
Scroll down to the bottom and click on the Logistics button.
The LogiSpeed slider should turn off.10.
Go up to the settings for “G502 Gaming Keyboard.”
Turn on the slider to the right of the “Game” switch and the “Speed” slider should switch to “Fast.”
