The software that makes video recording a reality has apparently been dead for decades.
The software company announced on its website that it is retiring its camera software as of March 31.NZXT said that it started working on a successor to the NZXT Capture software about 10 years ago, and that the software has been downloaded more than 500 million times since then.
It was not clear how many cameras were currently being used with NZXT software.
The company said that the last release of NZXT camera software in the US, released in 2015, was in 2016.NZxt is based in Switzerland and the company’s parent company, Canon, is based at the same place.
The company has no plans to open a new factory in New Zealand and said that they are not planning any expansions.
A spokesman for NZXT said: “As a result of the transition, we will not be actively producing NZXT Cameras or the NZX camera product line.”
